Todd has been teaching marching bands, jazz bands, and concert ensembles for more than 8 years. Most recently, he was the Director of Bands and Music Department Coordinator for Sandwich CUSD 430, in Sandwich, Illinois. Prior to his appointment in Sandwich, he was the Associate Director of Bands at Brother Rice High School, in Chicago, Illinois. During those years, he was fortunate enough to travel and perform throughout the Midwest, as well as to the 2009 Presidential Inauguration.

In July of 2006 he received his Master’s of Music Education Degree from VanderCook College of Music, in Chicago, Illinois. Todd received my Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Elmhurst College in 2002. Todd had the opportunity to work with many amazing instructors during this time including Doug Beach, Charles Menghini, Kevin Lepper, Alfred Reed, W. Francis McBeth, and Ed Livingston.

As a performer, Todd was a member from 1997-1999 of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps from Madison, Wisconsin. During his time with the Madison Scouts Todd was able to learn about teaching, performing, and composition/arranging from Scott Boerma, Van Mathews, Jeff Moore, and Scott Stewart, to name a few.

In addition to his education and teaching experience, Todd had the opportunity to work with and write music for many outstanding ensembles. In 2005 I was on the brass staff for the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over the past several years Todd has also served as arranger and clinician for Maui High School in Kahului, HI. In addition to these programs, he has worked with many others.
